Day 5 of 7: Malaysian Trip

Port Dickson to Muar 🚴‍♂️🇲🇾

107kms

I started early at 5:15am and finished after 12 hours. ⏳️

An old guy sat beside me for breakfast. He was driving his wife to work. We had simple chit chat until he started smoking. I left at that time. Question: are "M's" supposed to be smoking? 🚬🚭

I drank a lot of this milk tea in Malaysia. It's like coffee, actually.

I have had nearly no hills this whole trip, but I have seen HUNDREDS of monkeys! 🐒🙉🙈

I passed through a heavy Hindu city called Malacca. Lots of foreigners shopping and looking at temples. I heard Christianity came into Malaysia through this city. I actually saw a Methodist church! ⛪️

After getting a little off track because of closed bridge, I finally was able to exit.

After a big 107km day, I found housing very easy, as a result of a referral from two Shell gas station cashiers.

I'm amazed how these nice hotels can make money when their rooms are only $18!

Two more days remaining - approx 200kms more.
